Art Squared

Stevens Square Community Organization needs you to donate artwork in any medium to sell at our annual fundraiser, ART SQUARED. Paintings, photos, ceramics, furniture, jewelry, sculpture, comics, zines—we want it all!

This year's event will take place Saturday, April 6th at The Nicollet. We'll have local live music by The Ericksons , beer/wine and food, a raffle of awesome items from Minneapolis businesses, and we'll be selling high quality art donated by local artists like you. Your donation gets you free admission to this fun community event, as well as providing you with great networking opportunities with art lovers and other artists.

We will work in teams to pick up trash and litter throughout the neighborhood.

Safety committee meeting December 19

SSCO's Safety commitee meets Thursday, December 19, at 6:00 p.m. at Loring Nicollet Center, 1925 Nicollet Ave.

Topics for discussion include:

1) How does the Safety committee -- and Block Patrol -- need to change or be enhanced to better cope with the needs of the community?

2) Should SSCO establish term limits for committee co-chairs to bring new ideas and leadership to the organization?
