CLEAN SWEEP, Saturday, October 28

Join us to clean up the Stevens Square - Loring Heights neighborhood!

SSCO's Fall Clean Sweep
Saturday, October 28
9:00 to 10:30 a.m.

Meet on the north side (along East 18th Street) of Stevens Square Park, 1801 Stevens Ave.

We will split into teams to clean up litter and trash across the entire community. Trash bags and cloth gloves will be provided.

Compete for the PRIZE (Boiler Room Coffee gift card) for finding the most unusual piece of trash!

So please come out, meet up with neighbors, and make your streets shine!

October 31 Halloween Harvest in Stevens Square Park

Something different this year: Come to the park for Stevens Square Community Organization's HALLOWEEN HARVEST!

The event features music, a bonfire for s'mores, candy, games, a costume contest (for kids, adults, and pets), and prizes!

The Open House features family-friendly activities and free food from local businesses.

There is a parking lot at the church. Metro Transit routes 2, 17, and 18 buses stop at Franklin & Nicollet.

Minneapolis 2040 is an update to the City's Comprehensive Plan, a document that shapes how Minneapolis will grow and change. The plan will cover topics such as housing, job creation, the design of new buildings, and how we use our streets.

Over the past year, City planners have been doing a lot of listening about the future of Minneapolis. One theme they've heard is that everyone must benefit from a growing city. Read more »
